the zoo

in the last few weeks we've gone to the zoo in Louisville twice. good weather or bad, the girls love it. savannah especially loves pretending to drive this old van in the African Outpost and can hold her own against the ten year old boys that try to take her spot.



This past time, we saw a baby monkey, baby giraffe, baby elephant, and an up close and personal (too up close and personal if you ask me) tiger feeding. Those animals are HUGE! I still can't believe all that was between us and the tiger two feet away was a chainlink fence...yikes. Maybe that's why I have no pictures of it- I was clinging to the girls for dear life...



on another note...Nana is in town for three weeks again-yeah!!!!! We call her supernana.
